Die boards are composed entirely of select white birch wood veneers, each veneers is carefully selected for defects to ensure the finished product has a solid core, and uniformly kiln dried to make sure each panes is balanced and will not warp.
The veneer layers are bonded with interior white glue, in event the die pattern will be cut with laser. Birch die boards are not as dense as maple die board, and therefore recommended for low volume die cutting operations, when the production life of the die is not so critical.
